I have hunted up and down for a thread like this, and couldnt see one. So shame on me if this has already been done :D

Do you have any images containing a reflection you are proud of? I dont have many, but here's a starting point... a couple from my chess set :)

the sun was too bright to do this with the reflection so I tried the reflection on its own, sort of worked.

Ooooh, some corkers (y)

Betty, is that an all glass chess set ? Looks a bit like 'shot' chess.

Thats right, its drinking chess! And if I knew how to play chess, it might help matters :D

A couple from my NZ trip last year.

I love reflections and find this thread rather inspiring.

interesting and open theme for a thread. either through processing or natural eh?

the only one of mine that springs to mind is a quick snap of the missus whilst we were out walking around some historic grounds one day last summer

Some lovely stuff here. Here's an early shot of mine from my HDR phase :)

Some really nice shots all, here's my wee contribution to the thread. I snapped this down the harbour and had to hurry it as the swans had spotted me and were swimming towards me for their bread and disturbing the lovely glass like water surface.

Click on pic for larger version please. (y)

Tommy.

Fantastic idea for a thread Dee and some brilliant images from everyone.
This is my one size fits all photo, whenever a thread starts it seems to fit in somewhere. Sorry if you've seen it before but it is a favourite of mine as its the first shot I took that made me think I wasn't too bad at phoytography. Anyway Loch Loyal, North Scotland last August.

Cheers

Andy

andysnap, have you tried a b&w edit of that boat?

i love the calmness of the loch and the simplicity of it.

Some nice photos. Heres my poor go. Still trying to get the sky right without blowing the rest of the picture.
