What did you want to reach and communicate?

The sky was quite dramatic anyway with big cumulus clouds lit by the afternoon sun, but I tend to like adding additional contrast and definition to the skies in my shots - especially those shot on mostly cloudy days. It's not intended to communicate anything in particular, it's just a style that I like personally.

To my taste, dramatic clouds in a scenery are
a pleasure for the eye but as long as it stay part
of the image… but should always be credible-

Thanks. I tried that, but wasn't as happy with the result. When comparing the two, this one just felt better.
