B&W Let's see your Black and White photos

If I am to be honest, a bit too 'in yer face', with very flat, uniform (flash?) lighting that fails to flatter, and exposes spots and skin flaws rather harshly. Better to pull back just a bit, with natural lighting, and some very easy photoshopping on the 'spigs'. The focus has to be spot on too, on the eyes.

Thank you for the comments, I do appreciate the critique and advice, I was trying to convey that their flaws added to their 'charm'.

I agree about the lighting, but I really do like the close up "in yer face" aspect. Window light may have worked better?

Thanks for you comments, sounds like good advice as well. I rarely post a picture, I am not very good, but I do try often. Some day, maybe, I'll get the hang of it.

Lovely set of images m8 @minnnt , I new you'd nail that wedding gig. And the others are pretty good as well.(y)

That's a nice shot Brian, great sky, good movement in the water, really nice B&W conversion and the three figures in just about the right place.(y)
