Very nice tones, almost like reverse contrast. Is there a little crushing of the blacks?

Yes, but it actually looks more contrasty in the smaller size you're looking at.

Yet another Whitby pan. Unfortunately the weather was poor and the light just dead but I wanted to try a pan with a cheap (£93) lens.



I'll try again if I'm there with decent light.

I made this one with shots taken with a rather old Voigtlander 35mm f2.5 Color Skopar. It's four pictures stitched together. I didn't take them to stitch but spotted the possibility when we got home so I gave it a go and it works well enough for me.



I lots the feet of the people in the foreground but as above I didn't take these deliberately to make a panorama so I can't really complain.

Bits cut off at the edges of images delineate a natural frame or window, which we take for granted in the real world.
Impressionist artists used it all the time.
