A meadow full off daisies, a bit of a needle in a haystack job but persevered and found a few different insects including my first Hover of the year (Not sure on ID if anyone can Help)
Love them all.. what lens do you use to get results like that?
And what is that in the 3rd picture down?
Thanks - All shot with the MPE-65 Macro Lens - 3rd shot is a shield bug
really like the fifth one.
Sometimes very close down to about 40mm, again I loose more shots than I did with the 100mm for the reason of disturbing the insects but it makes it worthwhile when you do finally get in closeziggy©;3738762 said:Wow these are amazing. What distance were they away from the lens? I use the canon 100mm + tubes and find that i have to get very close to get anything in focus. Of course when you try to get closer they fly off
MT-24EX with homemade diffusersgreat detail and nice and sharp, what are you using to light these little fella's.
Thanks for the ID - A real cute hover I think almost has a smile on his face...Another wonderful set Gary. The hover is an Eristalis sp.
