Hi, One word "Excellent".(y)

Cheers George.

Top quality work Mr Crusoe, it should be printed BIG!

Cheers gents and Nick, it will be printed out in bout 30 seconds. If it looks ok then I may have a big version done.

Would I be right in assuming this is a digkal photograph?

Indeed it is, D7100 and Nikon 24-85mm f2.8-4. I generally shoot digital when out and about with the current Mrs Snap to avoid such comments as "Oy, stop faffing about and take a picture" etc.

"Oy, stop faffing about and take a picture" etc.

TBH I don't care what you've shot it on, it's a stunning shot, well done Andy.

Thanks Nick, very much appreciated.

I like the overall effect, and the way that the light shafts point to the trees bottom right.

If it were mine, I'd:-
Lose the two lighter patches bottom centre left and the one at the left hand edge which prevent the lower edge of the image making a natural frame There is also a small spot just left of the main pair that catches my eye as well.

Either darken the top right or deal with the small black fleck near the corner that catches the eye,

Darken down the highly eye catching lighter area the just nicely lines up with (and hence is pointed to by) the third tree in from the left.

Thank you Graham, Paul, Marcus, Stephen.

Stephen, thank you for the in depth critique, much appreciated and very accurate, top stuff mate.
