I hope this is in the right forum but this is my first attempt at light painting.

I'm still trying to find what direction of photography I prefer the most so trying lots of different ideas and enjoying them all.

I'm currently working in Alcudia, Mallorca for two weeks and when I took this I was originally going for night sky shots but they wasn't going to well so I tried taking a long exposure of the old ruin up a mini mountain. Then also tried lighting an area with my flash light.

This then led on to lighting the outside of this window with a lighter while doing a 20 second exposure. I was pretty happy with the results but more then open to how it could of been improved to give better results.

I like it, nice moon in the background aswell. Is there some distortion on the windowsill?

Thanks, As for the distortion I'm not sure what you mean?. (I'm new to this really).

I just looked closer on Flickr, It was the straight line on the window ledge created by a block that threw me off =]
