    Not the conventional method of light painting as I also used the torch to light the background/foreground areas but I quite like the final rendition. Highlights from the torch could be neater but practice makes perfect!

    P.S - whisky is tasty too ;)

    Light painting is a great technique and approach to lighting
    all kind of objects/ subjects. Instead of working with wide dif-
    fusing light sources, one can paint the light in given intensity
    and places so to create quite different and dramatic effects.

    The problem I see here, Stuart, is that you could have achie-
    ve a similar flooded scene faster with one or more large light
    sources such as diffuser, Here is a very rough example…

    It is not meant to!

    I only want to illustrate a possible effect of light painting, Ben.
    I will NEVER render an image of a member with the pretension
    to know what is right… but I will give guidance.

    No, Ben, I got that ok. I am just trying to illustrate
    a result… it is not my idea of help when the pro-
    blem is solved for another member! :cool:
