Lightroom colour temperature problem

Hi,

I have just opened Lightroom for the first time in a while and all of the photos are displaying with far too warm a colour temperature. When I right click and select "Edit in Photoshop", or when I open the files in any other programme, they are displayed with the correct colour temperature. Any ideas what has gone wrong? Searching the web comes up with various suggestions to do with calibrating the monitor. I don't have a calibration tool, but I can't see how mis-calibration would account for the difference between two programmes.

What happens if you click on reset in LR does it go back to normal?

Oh my goodness, "Restart Lightroom" in the "Preferences" window worked! Thank you. How strange, I had tried closing and reopening Lightroom and restarting the computer to no avail. I wonder why that was?
