Lightroom Folder Order

I throw this out as it may be of interest to some people or not as the case might be.
I structure my LR catalogue with the year as the parent folder with the months as subfolders and then put that months photos in the month folder in separate subject folder.
So
Photos 2020>Jan>New Year Party.
Photos 2020 >Jan >Snowscapes
Unfortunately LR puts the folders in alphabetical order so April >Aug etc which I find difficult for my old brain.
So by dint of putting A, B etc in front of the month AJan , BFeb etc I get them in alphabetical order

I just put the date of the event in reverse order, so I have a 2020 folder with subfolders yymmdd <event name>

ie

200101 New Years Day Party
200105 Snowscapes

etc, etc

There is no right or wrong way of doing it, just whatever suits you.

It's annoying I don't see a way to have the newest at the top

My preference is just to import structure as a pure chronologically ordered tree using the following: YYYY\YYYY-MM\YYYY-MM-DD\image_files.xyz

However, I then use collections and collection sets to organise into events, subjects, projects etc. This way you can easily have a single image in multiple collections or collection sets.

Yes, the lack of any folder/collection sort order is a pain.
