Lightroom Keyword limitation

I recently discovered the 1500 word Keyword limitation in Lightroom.
I completely understand and use keywording, it's just that I'd like to overcome the limitation on their display for editing within the program.

It appears that one of the best ways to overcome this problem is "nesting" keywords.
I have the Martin Evening Lightroom 4 book, but I just cannot get my head around the "nesting" of keywords technique.
I'm having similar problems finding an on-line tutorial that explains it in terms I can understand.

It's probably me being a bit slow, but can anyone please suggest a tutorial explaining the nesting of keywords in Lightroom?

There are many, but here is a relatively simple one to get started. Hope it helps

and one from Adobe:-

Thanks very much for those.

I had been trying to find the "official" Adobe tutorial but I was having trouble finding it for some reason.
I can now see part of my problem in "nesting" keywords.
It appears you have to reverse the hierarchy when entering the sub divisions, which to me is a little counter-intuitive, I was trying to arrange them in descending order, rather than ascending - or is it the other way round?.
I guess more practice is needed on my part!

Thanks again for the links.
