When preparing jpg's for sending off to the lab, previously I've always exported my images from LR to PS, set canvas/image/color space and saved as jpg. Seems to have worked fine, but I'm trying to avoid the PS step and do it direct from LR.
Presumably, I could just right-click and export, but I'm trying to do it from the Print Module using the 'Print to File' option as that will give me the option to print multiple images on a page if I so wished. The issue I have is setting the paper size. Rightly or wrongly, I've been using 'Page Setup' and creating a custom paper size. Is this the correct way to setup the paper size eg 18x12, 20x10, 6x4 etc? I've now hit a stumbling block whereby I want to create a custom page 18x12, but it won't let me set a dimension that goes out of range of the connected printer even tho I'm not intending to use it. So, how do I create a print size in the print module that has no relation to the connected printer? Do I need to install a different printer?
