Lil Robin

Took a stroll down to the local ponds this morning in an effort to spot the kingfishers, no luck with them as usual (can they smell cameras?) but I was paid a visit by a young robin who was pretty curious. These were taken with my 135L which gives you an idea of how close the robin let me get.

Shame about the beak hiding behind the branch in the first, I might have to go back with some tasty treats for him and see if I can get a better shot

#2 is a real belter with its colour, composition and DoF. Can't wait for the close ups.
