I would agree female Linnet :)

I presonally, would clone out those buds ( The ones the bird are not perched one) make it a more tidy shot and make the viewer focus on the bird more

Good point, I totally agree!
I actually tried it but I'm that bad at cloning it looked not so great. I only ever use the remove dust tool in Lightroom for this purpose which is not great. Maybe I should try photoshop, especially that I pay for the monthly adobe package.

Its an easy enough job on Photoshop and as you say you are paying for it :)

Can you run me very very quickly to the how to?

In Lightroom I use Photo>edit in photoshop CC
Then in lightroom I use the stamp clone tool?
Is content aware filling something else I am looking at?
 
Think, I just figured the basics!

In Lightroom: Photo>edit in photoshop CC
In photoshop: select area then Fill>content aware>save
Then the edited photo appears magically changed in Lightroom.

Thats one way- I use a completely differnt approach- if it works for you then stick with that :)
