About as good an Egret image as I have seen...........though if you could selectively tame the blown highlights on the head & back that would add to it ;)

No highlight warning showing in LR or Photoshop, can't see any clipping on histogram either.

Pull the highlights back a fraction and see if more detail comes up
It might not show any clipping but you can see on the image that there is no detail in those pure white areas.

Indeed, Harry, would be worth trying.

When
looking at blinding whites, the eye will adjust
so to see details… and that reflex is somehow ex-
pected in such a scene.

I downloaded the large size to analyze it and I did
not see any details in the 245/255 white. My con-
firmed conclusion is that the DRL was not optimi-
zed thus costing you the fine captured details even
though you did not get the warning.
