I love the colours in these birds and the way they fly about.
They are also fairly trusting in humans, or at least the ones near our lake are, as they let you get quite close.

I'll add to this thread any other pictures I get of Little Green Bee Eaters.
The aim is to get some in flight and get closer to one eating.

Amazing pictures. The first one has it all. I have no seen them down South at all, just Carmine variety in Africa.

He returned to the same spot the following day, well I say he, they all look a like and we have several near us!

I'll be back there next weekend if possible to see if I can get closer while he's eating or maybe catch him on a branch, I'm not a fan of the fence.
