I think you've handled the exposure well with this shot, it's an in the moment capture, not contrived to be anything more than it is. I'd be tempted to push the contrast a tiny bit more as it looks as though there is sufficient headroom in the image to take it, also just a little bit of post in respect of the catch lights, just to add more of a glint to the eyes.
 
bit too much going on...
for me the head and shoulders would be enough
some pp would help a bit to make the facial area more the interest of the shot
