Little owl

On my return from the Peregrines this afternoon, I spotted something flitting about the rocks on top of the moors. Stealth mode on, I crawled along as near as I could and spotted this chap.

Then he spotted me.............

Hung around for a while,had another look, probably thought "He is damned ugly and probably tastes crap".

And promptly "did a runner" or a flapper or whatever, anyway, it departed in a hurry, bit blurred i`m afraid.

All pretty large crops i`m afraid, as owls are not keen on us getting too close in the wild.
