Been there at least 10 years now mate.
Was in what is now the super hanger before being moved into the American hanger.
From what I remember it's the only one outside the USA, was shipped to Mildenhall in containers and reconstructed at Duxford.

Jeez I need to get with the times haha, haven't been since I was a kid...
 
Just looked on the duxford website- "The American Air Museum (one of our eight exhibition buildings) is closed for a year-long redevelopment"

The Blackbird will be moved to Airspace at some point.

As regards the photo, I like the idea but not sure on the black below the wing/fuselage.
