London Palladium. Where to stay?

Hi gang.
You were very helpful to me when I asked about parking at The Royal Albert Hall.
I've now got a job snapping ay The London Palladium...this time I'll be arriving by train and stopping over.
Any recommendations as to where to stay on the Saturday night? Preferably within safe and easy walking distance, not to sku

Z Hotel in Soho is nice. Literally a bed in a (nice room) and relatively cheap (for London) and a short walk from Palladium.

Thanks for the reply.
The band I'm travelling down to photograph have added me to their block booking so I'm in at The Tavistock Imperial Hotel for £90.00.
It looks fine and I'll only be there for about 7 hours.
The problem I was having was that I could find plenty of places to stay in walking distance at an advertised price I was happy to pay (£120.00 ish) but when I put my dates in the price trebled!
I take from that that it is best to book as late as possible and grab a bargain (Risky I know.)
I looked at Z Hotel and for a given room it states "From £60.00"...when I put my date in the same room comes up as £200.00.
