Great set of images, really like them and in B&W too sets them off better.
Hi Dave ... Thanks :)

I never do B&W, and I shot these L.Monochrome in camera jpegs. .... took lots of tweeking, but not bad in the end.

I'm curious as to what lens you used to capture these? Looks like you were quite a long way away.

They're nice photos David but they like context. For example, it would be nice to have even a rough idea what the chap in #6 is looking at that's distracting him from his phone.

As Mark says:

All taken with M43 Panasonic GX80 + 45-150 small, lightweight, cheapo lens.

All taken at Oxford Circus where I get comfortable leaning against the rails of the steps leading down to the tube. Focal length between 80- 150 (35mm equiv 160-300). None of the above pics are cropped at all.

I think I know what you mean ... the chap in #6 is waiting to cross the road, the green man is not showing, so I guess he's simply wondering if any traffic is coming up behind him going to turn left and go in front of him. I had my eye on him doing the same seconds earlier, someone passed between us and I grabbed him doing it again. It's all a bit too chaotic there to actually capture something with a proper story in it.

Very nice set of candid street style shots David, with good detail, nice expressions, and well presented in mono which in my opinion is how street photography should be presented.

George.

four gets my vote
