Very nice, maybe the focus point hit the wing though rather than the eye of the bird? I know you recently fine tuned the lens though, so maybe the bird moved at the vital second?

Yes it did hit on the shoulder of the bird ,unfortunately these don’t sit still long enough to always get eye focus .
It’s also a different lens the big ones gone back to sigma for a service or adjustment
