B&W Looking over Brading

My word does that boat hold that image together! I'd maybe push the contrast a little more but that is just my taste.

Beautiful shot!
B&W really suits it.

Not sure about adding overall contrast as it might stamp over the lovely mist.
But I would definitely try giving a bit more contrast to the top of the sky; it may balance the dark wood at the bottom.

Thanks guys, Wish the wife liked it also but she just can't get it lol.

Being REALLY picky :)
I was thinking just the top of the sky as I like the way it does from flat grey to moody. Sort of like the land, but in reverse.
I experimented editing your image to illustrate what I mean, and I think this my idea works (honest).
But the editing process threw something up that I hadn't twigged.

Try a light crop off the top of your tweaked image.
It changes the focus of the image much more down to the boat and fog. That light band at the top of the image is competing for attention.
Both my original burning in suggestion and the crop are just alternatives to sorting out the original distraction; the light band at the top of the cloud.

Please give it a whizz and see if I'm making any sense at this of night :)

Yep I see where you were coming from Duncan and think I will settle on this crop :)

Lovely image. ..the final edit being my preference.
