I set off early in the morning to make the journey to the nearest point of the wash for me, was surprisingly quiet the whole way there and back. It took me about 45 mins to walk from the RSPB site to the mouth of the river and it was a decent sunrise. I’ll probably post up some of the other photos at some point but the best shot of the morning happened 3 hours in....when I’d got back to the car

5d3 with 70-200L. Wasn’t really ready for it as I was chucking stuff back in the car and had been taking up close photos of the greenery up till the point they flew over the front of the car, not really much of a wildlife photographer but if my success rate against landscapes is owt to go by then maybe I need to have a rethink!
