If you get the option to select image size you need to pick the one closest to 800 Px.
Your pictures still donr seem to be coming through. I can see one plane almost fully in your last attempt.

#5, #8 and #9 for me.

If you had not have cut off the edge of the outer props on #5 it would be perfect IMHO. Prop blur is spot on.

Love how the pilots in #9 are looking directly at you! It also seems really sharp considering it's a tight crop of #1... Can I ask what body and Lens you were using?

great set
like the movement in no.5
no.3 needs a straighten

Great images mate. Which part of the loop were these taken from..? Cad East?

number 1 is spot on very cool. Could I ask what lens and body you were using?

I went for the slightly tighter crop as it shows the detail in the plane, but will definatly have a play again! Yeah, the close up of the F15 with the pilots is great! one of my favorites! I've got a canon 7D And a recently purchased 300mm f4 prime. (As purchased from Den in the classified section, which caused a bit grief!) I was using a 100-400 before and my hit rate was so low. After my first trip with the prime i love it!

The images were all taken at Bluebell, (What a climb!) The lake pic is from the bottom of Corris corner.

Kieth ... Wow I love this but I feel sick at the same time . The shot is fabulous with the detail of them just sitting there , brilliant and the lads that fly these planes mush be made of some strong .

Thanks for all the comments! As i said before, The making of these shots really has been the 300mm f4 lens. The results with my 100-400 were so inconsistant. Normally about 10 soft shots to 1 sharp. Now i'm getting mostly sharp shots!

Superb set, hoping to go there soon, would be a dream to get shots like yours

Have you been before? If you need any help or advise let me know ;)

No never been, I see you used a 300mm F4, I have just purchased one of these. Thanks for the offer of advice, I'll probably have questions but will let you know when i have a date. thanks again,

Great set, the prop blur on the Herc is awesome. The 300 f4 is a great piece of glass.

The 300 is amazing! If your able to micro adjust with your body i'd recommend it. Mine took +5 and is sharper than ever!

Thanks mate ;) so happy with the lens!

Thanks for that. Trying to work out if it's something I'd be able to do (I have a 7d and 70-200 with a 1.4x tc) I'm doing some BIF next month with this setup so I will see how I get on. I love military aircraft and always look at these threads when I spot them well worth the trip. Great work.

I love the first Herc. Prop blur and panning are great for 1/80 (y)

The only thing missing from #3 is something low and fast coming head-on down the lake. ;)

Ofcourse you'd be able to do it! You've got a great camera and the 70-200 with a 1.4x will end up being 280mm you just need to be able to climb a hill and have clothing to stay dry for the day! Oh and what's BIF? I'm guessing birds in flight??? :)

Thanks Ruby! There were a few blurred Herc shots being at 1/80th but it only takes one nailed shot to be worth doing! And it payed off!

As for the landscape, should I photoshop a herc into the distance ;)
