Mach Loop `Summer 2017`

Surely you gotta have been in a plane to have gotten some of those superb angles? Very nice shots

As a young boy, I could not figure out HOW these tons of
hardware could leave the surface of the planet. Sure, I got
it in the meantime but the fascination always stayed! (y)

Just on the side of a mountain above a steep sided valley. Thank you.
Looks like time well spent on the Bwlch and Cad, loving those GR4 frames.
Thanks. Be a shame when its decommisioned :(
Amazing! Would love to get to here to see the planes. They look like you are in a plane to get some of the cool shots.
They fly very low and its easy to find. Thank you.
Can i ask what f-stop and what shutter speeds are with this lens, for these kind of shots? Thanks
Different for each one and ranged from 200mm right up to 600mm and between f6.3 and f8.0. Shutter speeds from 1/400th sec up to 1/1000th sec. Thank you and I hope this helps.

When you see the speeds they travel at up close though its hard to imagine them falling out of the sky.

Dunno how you managed to keep up with the action!! You must have been panning at some rate to keep up with these jets!!

Fab set of images indeed. Must be pretty amazing to see these at such close quarters!
Cheers
