Very good Les #2 is the best as the sharpest and best focus. good composition too.

f11 may have improved #1/3 :D

Very nice set of images Les, the detail in #1 is spot on.(y)

George.

Thanks guys

all hand held and yes Bryn f11 would have improved them,( Smart arse) :p but available light prevented that

Les ;)

Balls.... you used ISO 1000 sure that beast of a camera can go above that without any issue ;)

I'm gonna stop providing EXIF :D:D:D and yes my new Mk2 a77 can shoot above ISO 3200 without much loss of IQ, you got me mate - fair cop

I use the Nikon V1 + FT-1 adaptor and Nikon 300mm f4 quite a lot for Dragonflies Les

I find that I can "fill the frame" so getting quite a good MP image even from the small sensor

I'm looking forward to getting lots of Dragonflies this summer with my 200-400 :) I got a few last year but I only got the lens in June/July time and was getting used to it for a while!

Long lenses are definitely the way ahead for Dragonflies :D
