Thought I'd summarise the magazines I know of that have a focus on nature photography. Be interested to hear if there are any I'm not aware of or if you agree/disagree with my comments.

Outdoor Photography http://www.outdoorphotographymagazine.co.uk
Leans more landscape but surely the one we're all familiar with so I'll say no more.

Not to be confused with the above, this one is American. I've never held the magazine but when I remember I check their website to see what they've shared online. I find it tends to be a bit superficial but

Wild Planet Photography Magazine. https://wildplanetphotomagazine.com
A pdf-only magazine launched back in Nov '13. I was a subscriber from the start but I recently allowed it to lapse. IMO it's too full of reader submitted photos while the articles I'm actually interested in are all too terse. Plus the layout is atrocious; it's all tightly-packed and garish overlays like they're still worried about paper-cost.

Wildlife Photography World https://wildlifephotographyworld.com/
Quarterly, up to issue 3. Was the opposite of blown away when I had the chance to flick through the first issue; just seemed to be nearly all reader submissions and the print quality wasn't great. I'm after insight and practical knowledge so unless it radically changes I'll have no interest.

Nature Photographer. http://www.naturephotographermag.com/
A long running printed quarterly, I first came across an issue on my recent visit to Yellowstone. It seems to have a weird system where you can pay extra to be a "field contributor", get your name listed in every issue and have the right to submit articles for consideration (which they will then pay for). I was actually impressed enough that I'm considering subscribing to the PDF version. The quality of the photography doesn't seem to be bleeding edge and it's all a bit more traditional style than some of the stuff we're now used to seeing through things like WPOTY, but it actually has wordy articles that left me feeling like I'd gained some knowledge.

Only just discovered it's existance but it seems to be a bi-monthly only available via an Apple or Android app. Anyone read it?

Luontokuva http://luontokuva.org/
A Finnish magazine (Luontokuva being the Finnish Nature Photographers Association). I bought a copy as a souvenir when I was ought there photographing bears; I've no idea what the articles say but it certainly looks the part (Finns do tend to be well represented in WPOTY...)

Photograph America http://www.photographamerica.com/
A slightly esoteric publication - twelve pages per issue of detailed practical location information. Living on the wrong side of the pond not sure it makes sense but it's been going since 1989 so it's either a vanity project or it's actually useful.

.

I have subscribed to it - It varies but does have a more global view than just North america, especially if you are into Africa. Some good articles by known and unknown authors.Think they do a free trial version

In regard to the Finnish website.......................Chrome appears to do a reasonable job of Translating.
