Male Stonechats

Came across three male Stonechats this morning whilst checking a Peregrine site. All three were bickering over a small section of roadside ditch ready for Spring and the fresh snow made for some nice images.

I like the first two a lot - the composition, pose and background of the first and the second just for the snow. The colour of the sky isn't doing the third many favours, nor is the lighting. But very nice birds to see.
