Thanks Gramps they were taken through my lounge window so I didn't think they came out too bad apart from them being too tight in the frame to the right

Never tire of seeing Mandarins!

The first has lovely light on it, a good pose to the camera and great details throughout. The only nit is that it is too central in the frame. If you could give it some more breathing space in front of the bird then the balance will be better - this is a bit rough and ready, but something along these lines
