Manhattan Sunset

Hi Ned, all shots display the same DRL negligence
as #3 and #4 do seem to suffer apparently much less!
Cool takes. Here is a suggestion:

Of course, you will do better with the RAWs!

Blimey, you're not wrong, I completely forgot about the new dehaze tool in LR, with the flick of one slider:

edit: to be honest though, the reason I didn't make the changes originally is because the photo looked very similar to how it did in my mind - it was quite hazy at the time.

Any tool in any software performing this task is like giving you a fish!
If you learn how to properly do this operation without these tool, well
you have just learned fishing!

Very nice, great cityscape, would love to go back to New York with my camera. I like 3 and 4 best.

A tad earlier is a good idea… as T4 said.

Thanks for the comments folks :)

Bit late now :p

The sky didn't turn that amazing until a good 10 minutes after it set and for some reason the buildings didn't switch their lights for a while and I wanted the buildings lit up :)

Here's what it was like in the really rather small observation deck on floor 102:
