Marbles - first thread.

I had a bit of a bored, messing-around Sunday today, putting some marbles in the freezer and snapping them as it froze. What do you reckon?

DOF is a little too narrow for my taste.

With stuff like that, its always a good idea to try different angles, focal lengths, exposure times, lighting effects, etc

Ta - I've got one more, but it's a bit rubbish because you can clearly see me reflected in the green marble. Ah well....

Sort of makes my point, really. Once you've got your gear set up to do a still life, its worth taking loads of shots and from different angles

Its still a good idea and the 1st one is cool.

Have another crack with different DOF's (and at keeping yourself out of the shot...)
