Spent a week in Norfolk but didn't get too much time with the wildlife.

Here is one of the few shots I managed - a male Marsh Harrier looking for a tasty duckling.

A great sighting and a very nice pose Dave. I think the bird could take a little extra sharpening, I had a play with it and I think it improves the shot.

Great shot. I have been trying to capture a decent (ish) image of a marsh harrier at strumpshaw fen as I only live a few miles from there,but every time he is just too far away.....maybe one day it will happen

Hi Peter - this was taken at Strumpshaw. It is about the best place I know for Harriers.

If you go in the Fen hide then they will come in very close - more so now they will be feeding young.
