Meadow Pipit by StuartJPP, on Flickr
great shot that stuart, looks like he was posing for you
Excellent shot stuart, you can even see the extra long claw on the rear of the feet
That really is a beautiful shot love the colours and detail also as said never noticed the claws on these before
Very nice shot, I always like the birds on a wire shots.
Brilliant...love the close up detail.
I wonder why they have that long nail...it looks like it could get caught in something and get pulled off...ouch.
Very nice shot with lovely light quality
Very good and pleasing to the eye Stuart.
Absolutely stunning shot, even the barb wire is level.
Lovely shot. I like the barbs against the claws of the bird, a great contrast.
Nearly forgot to say, "thanks eveyone "
Initially I thought they were Skylarks, because I could hear a lot of them in the area, but then decided these were Medow Pipits due to the extra long claw, the wings and the beak. I am far from being any bird ID expert.
Lovely shot, super colours and background
ticks all the boxes this stuart
Faultless capture Stu.
I like it all sharp and detailed. Super DOF.
A superb image of one of my favourite peatland birds.
