Meadow Pipit

[Tringa]

One from this afternoon in NW Scotland.

I am fairly sure it is a Meadow Pipit but happy to be corrected. To me, pipits, and a lot of other small brownish birds are all LBJs.

Lovely photo , the barbwire may bother some , but looks a typical perch to me . Love the background , and nice composition . Well done .

Thanks Mstphoto and Gramps, and for your comment Lepus. As you say, a typical perch. The background was a bit of luck; rough moorland about 50 metres behind the bird.
