Paul did you used to post a lot of Macro stuff on the Canon Fodder forum years back ? Also would like more info on the Mealworm beetle if you have it please . Are they native to the U.K ?

Seeing those takes me back.......

I used to keep lizards in a vivarium and depending on the time of year fed them live mealworms. The thing was that some pupated before I used them up and/or some managed to burrow into the vivarium 'soil' and pupated and hatched there. As far as I can recall (I am talking about more than 50 years ago), the lizards did not seem fancy eating the beetles!
