Milky Way above Saumur Chateau in France

This shot used to be impossible due to light pollution as Saumur is quite a large town, but as literally all the lights go off at 1am in this town now due to some French law, its awesome!

I really like that Guy, nice work.

I'm wondering if this is a set of vertical images merged into a panoramic? It appears you have controlled the shape of the chateau near the edge of the frame well.

That has worked really well, a great location. You have been very conservative on the Milky Way, there is a lot more detail you could pull out if you wanted without detracting from the image
