Beginner Milky way and star trail

I love the first two, but the star trails don't work for me at all.
I'm not a big fan of star trails but when I see them I expect to see variations in the stars coloring.
 
They are really good, a couple of thoughts...

Tree shot, possibly try to get closer to make the tree bigger in the images, but the silhouette has worked really well and the light pollution has given a nice back light and put a touch of illumination on the tree.

Reservoir, not the most exciting of foreground interest. Not sure the blue concrete really works for me, you could try a bit of light painting to change the colour, or you could do a longer exposure for the foreground and blend the two shots together.

Trails – I am also not a big fan, but appreciate they are fun to do. In my opinion the tree could do be with being slightly offset to one side, this is all a bit aligned around the centre.

But great effort :)
