Milkyway with Aurora in Iceland

Here two pictures from my trip in Iceland,

The milkyway pictures was taken first, then I saw that some auroras were showing in the north, I wait for an hour and the aurora approached the waterfall and could add it to my composition.

2nd shot is very nice

Personal choice but I'd have cloned out the rock centre bottom and the people with torches, left hand side, on the bank

second image is a cracker, must be an amazing place to visit for photography. I agree about the cloning of the rock and torches.

Obviously the aurora are special, but in this case I actually prefer the first photo without them.

I like them both!

the MW is more impressive in the 1st - but the combination of both in the 2nd is lovely too. Was this the other weekend with the big solar storm? (2nd of the season)

Thanks all for your comments. I am going to take your advise and clone out the bottom rock and torches.
