Beginner Millhouse on the River Lark

A suggestion through a very quickly performed
keystoning and tonal taming,

In my Raw converter, vibrance is (among others)
non existant.

No, in this example, I just tweaked down the mids
but you could do better with the RAW file.

I feel like a fool.

I would too! :ROFLMAO:

Listen Ben, when I read between the lines you comments
about the technology at your disposal, your ambitions and

enthusiasm are not at all supported by your tools.

Outdated camera
producing outdated Raw files forcing you
to use fifth grade software, etc.

How do you think you can cope and learn with these tools?

On this forum, many had to upgrade whatever was necessary
to keep up with technologies (and they're moving darn fast!) to
reach a
decent and comparable level of production.

I can cope with the limits for now. The more I learn while I am constrained, the better I will be when I feel I can justify more expense. I should be able to source a better monitor for free, but I'm in no rush. If I am limited in PP, I will just have to push myself to get better shots SOOC. o_O

Edit: I'll just blame the weather today :ROFLMAO:

Without a decent monitor you will forever struggle. And not just a 'better one for free' - you need a decent quality IPS panel. It needn't be expensive if you don't go too big, but laptop screens and image processing just don't go together.

I am not in a position to justify spending on a new monitor, so I will get what I can for free. Fortunately I have a lot of PC gamer friends who have pretty good spares collecting dust.
