cold wet and uncomfortable- but my idea for fungi is to get down low on their level- ok so I got rather damp - still good fun

I'm still waiting for it to stop raining so I can get into my local woods to find what fungi have arrived.

I love hunting for woodland fungi (maybe not in the p***ing rain though). At first I find it hard going, trying to find very small fungi. Then once I've found my first one, I can't do finding them. I seen to have to get my eye in, as it were.

No need to get down low myself. I place my camera low on a bean bag and use Helicon Remote on my iPad. So all the camera controls are available to me and a large live view image. So I can stand away or even sit down somewhere and take my time. Helicon remote also includes focus stacking which is often very useful for fungi.
