If you say these are not landscapes but close-ups, well I can't argue. But they have the feel to me of some aerial photos of things like Icelandic estuaries or deserts. And they were taken in the
landscape - at 750 m altitude in Snowdonia.
Thanks Nguss; the second has (for me) that weird psychological effect where you can see either the dark bits raised up (as it actually is) or the light channels as raised.
