Minimal enough?

I think it is probably minimal enough, but I'm not so sure on the light level. There's a difference between a narrow range of tones/colours and a brighter/more contrasty version of the same, but I appreciate this is how you envisaged it.
 
Thanks Peter and I think you are right, I recognised that it didn't have the same impact as some other minimal images I've seen but couldn't quite see why.
 
I quite like the idea too. Can you show me some others that inspired you though, because I do agree that it doesn't have quite the impact that I have seen for similar style shots.
 
I like the idea, it imparts a lovely feeling of space and tranquility due to the soft colours

I see what you mean! Tell you what, you're not far off at all. I'd be tempted to push the contrast a bit and maybe even brighten it up. It's almost perfect for a B&W (or even selenium toned).

It's still a lovely shot to be fair.
