According to the good folk at iSpot, and confirmed by images from other sites, it looks like this is Campyloneura virgula. According to www.britishbugs.org.uk this is "a common predatory bug found on a range of trees across the UK, particularly hazel, hawthorn and oak. Males are extremeley rare, raising the possibility that C. virgula might be parthenogenetic."

I captured these hand-held a week ago in our garden using my FZ330 and Raynox 150 (and possibly a second Raynox 150) with KX800 twin flash. The images were batch processed in DXO Optics Pro and Silkypix, with image-specific adjustments in Lightroom. There are 1300 pixel high versions in this album at Flickr.
