Money to spend

Good price if you get that for your 10D.

I'm sure that with your motorsport pics you'd really benefit from the lightening fast focusing system on the 1D MK2, but the cheapest I've seen them is the Canon Source refurbished ones for around 1200-1300 quid body only.

I'm sure you'd love the 20D, but the 30D has to be worth looking at in your situation if you can't stetch to the 1D. The larger screen on the 30D is a huge help when you're reviewing pics (sounds better than chimping) and with the spot metering, better buffering and other improvements, it's a more substantial upgrade for you than the 20D. :)

Don't forget that you have no UK Guarantee with that and also that unlike some others who will pick up any import duty (should you get stung) that supplier doesn't. ;)

In many countries, there is no additional import duties, tariffs and/or taxes imposed. However Import duty/VAT/GST may be imposed by your country. The buyer shall be responsible for finding out if any such duties are applicable.

We will endeavour to do all we can to minimise tax/duties liability by declare lower value or as gift upon request by buyers. However, the buyer shall be responsible for any and all such costs imposed by customs in their country and the brokerage fee by courier service.

Guaranteed No Custom Duty for US buyers.

Is there duty on the Isle of man?

Great price and with the grip too!

Well the vendor there is a reputable trader with nearly 100% positive feedback. It's from HK so KIV you may cop for the import duty. You can often avoid the duty if you can get the vendor to mark 'Gift' on the package. I'd normally not advise buying an import camera as you don't get the Canon warranty, although these people are providing their own 12 months warranty. In the event of a problem, there's just the expense of shipping back to consider.

I've had no problems buying stuff off eBay, you just have to be careful who you buy from, and these people look OK. Your call Kris, but another option is the 9 months 0% credit from Warehouse Express. You get a full UK warranty and if you do have a problem WE get the camera picked up by courier.

LOL...Warehouse Express! :laugh1:

I don't have shares in it... unfortunately.

I've been keeping my eye on them and the reserve seems to have been upped to £1500, still a decent enough deal mind you.

Good price for the 10D Liberalis :thumb: I think you'd notice a big difference going to the 30D, or higher.
