Mono rooftop scene

Simple but stimulating.
Super placed diagonal, with the chimney also well placed in the gap.
Bold light/dark context.
I like it.

Quite like it. Would have loved it more if the shadow went into the top corner for full symmetry though :)

your diagonal not cutting the shot in two lets some light in at the top right and imho gives a better balance as do the two window slots top left area
its a really good type of abstract really and would look good with some texture effects as well
like the bird...good take
cheers

Really like this shot - minimalist and great job in getting the bird shadow in too as the 'icing on the cake' for the shadow. Only thing I'd maybe change is to remove the aerial hanging down in the top left of the frame (unless you object to tampering with the scene like that in PS - people have differing views on this I realise!) Otherwise it's a great shot - nice one.

It is crazy and interesting, absolutely!
As noted, maybe the arial but I dig the bird immensely.
I think you could retrieve a lot more details in the concrete wall…

I prefer the original tbh.
The image is a simple one, and it's effective.
It doesn't need the rather over-sharpened appearance created by attempting to retrieve detail.
Well done to the OP.

over-sharpened appearance created by attempting to retrieve detail

No sharpening applied and retrieving details does not sharpen anything!

You may prefer, legitimately, the original though! Ok with me.

That's why I said the "appearance" of oversharpening.
The image stands well without the added fuss.

Thanks guys. Others have mentioned the aerial so I'll clone it out and post it up later. Doesn't bother me too much for some reason
Try cropping from the left instead of cloning.

I like that very much , well seen and captured
