Took this at around 5am this morning,

Hope you like it, found it difficult to get focussed, and the lens was so bloody heavy on the tripod!

Also done a little time lapse that I will share soon.

Single shot or a stack?

I did the same and stacked about 15 shots, brings out loads of extra detail....:)
 
I find the easiest way to get multiple shots is to use the Low Speed sequential shutter setting. Just press the shutter and keep pressed for several seconds. Thus you have say 15 individual shots of the moon. Probably need a minimum of a 200mm lens, preferably twice that....:-(

I use Registax, there are quite a few stacking programmes tho'. Go through their sequence, watch you tube for instructions. Finally the wavelets at the end of the programme then sharpen up the final image.
