Last week I found 2 in about 10 minutes searching,my best ever result and I also found one yesterday (not posted to flickr yet).

Normally I find them using a soil sieve, sieving leaf litter in a common or park, it is quite heavy but if you drive to a place it is fine, just a pain on public transport.
These two were an exception as they were under a small piece of wood in my garden. I have a few small pieces of wood in my garden to find insects underneath them, if you have a reasonable sized garden you could put loads there which would be a great way of finding specimens to photograph.
