More stormy seas

They are both excellent shots,i would be happy with them.:)

Two fantastic images. Great atmosphere.
Second is the favourite for me.
The higher perspective adds more interest, plus the more natural movement in the water.

The filters have done well to balance the light. In No 1 my first thought was to crop out the left and bottom moving the figures to the left but there's too much action in the wave for that. You might have had a better picture just showing the texture of the water as in No 2 rather than catching the wave.

I do enjoy a picture that makes me think, 'What if I...?"

Thanks Ruth, your comments are always appreciated.

2 lovely shots, I prefer the first, simple composition and the inclusion of the 2 people gives a nice sense of scale.
Hope you had a zoom lens to take these with!! That sea is not to get close to!
Many thanks Alan

Thanks Derek, I played with the crop on the first before settling on this one.
