Finally getting around to putting some pictures up.

I've been trying to get to grips with my new D40. I got myself a field guide which is much more useful than the user manual. This camera is just too nice to not explore its full potential, like using an xbox360 to watch dvds or only using a mountain bike on the road. There's a lot to learn though.

Anyhoo, here are a few for starters, not really any new ideas but what can I say, I'm a sucker for a flower and a few water droplets!

The first one I sort of like but sort of not sure at the same time, can't put my finger on what the niggle is The last one I do like though!

Nice set, least keen on the mono shots but #3 is great, I like the water drops too

I like the 2nd shot but then i do like selective colouring.

Thanks for your comments. Good to get feedback my first time for posting pics. My favourites are 1 and 3, I think.

Nice shots but first seams spoilt slightly as water droplets are nice but the ones in front look like milk.
